Tyson Rockwell, LMP, FSMT
Tyson began his journey into the healing arts after an auto accident of his own while in college. Seeking great relief from Complementary medical care, Tyson decided to attend Northwest Noetic School of Massage and education after earning a bachelors degree from Western Washington University.
Over the last seven years, Tyson has specialized in Injury Rehabilitation and Pain management massage therapy. For the last three years, he has integrated Massage Therapy, Frequency Specific Microcurrent and Baguanfa Cupping.
When Tyson is outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, or tending to his garden and beehives.
Frequency Specific Microcurrent is an exciting new way of decreasing nerve and muscle pain using specific frequencies and micro-amperage current.
In the past 8 years, there have been six published papers on the efficacy of FSM for multiple types of conditions, with several pointing to the anti-inflammatory benefits of the treatment.
With FSM, new injuries, muscle soreness and pain heal in record time.
Many chronic myo-fascial conditions can be relieved quickly and comfortably using frequencies specific for the conditions and the tissues involved in an injury. Tyson also has specialized training in Fibromyalgia treatment with FSM.
Baguanfa is the modern term for Suction Cup Therapy. Baguanfa therapy has been used by healers for more than 5000 years. This traditional, time-honored treatment remains favored by millions of people worldwide because it's safe, comfortable and remarkably effective for many health disorders.
It utilizes negative pressure, rather than tissue compression. This has been seen to be superior for bodywork for pain, stubborn conditions, repetitive strains, inflammation, toxicity, chronic fatigue, digestive problems and a slough of other issue we confront as we grow older.
Suction cups rapidly facilitate rigid soft tissue release, loosens & lifts connective tissue, breaks up and drains stagnation while increasing blood & lymph flow to skin & muscles in ways not possible using compression.
Another benefit of Cupping is that it can feel really great when done properly for your constitution and current physiology and/or condition. The pulling action engages the parasympathetic nervous system, thus allowing a deep relaxation to move through the entire body. It is not unusual to fall asleep when receiving this treatment. You will be surprised at how relaxed, warm and light you'll feel – hours... sometimes even days afterwards.
